 | Sedlmeyer Guns Down Detroit Sunday, September 9th, 2029: Tony Sedlmeyer of Cleveland easily handled the Detroit Tigers, stopping them on 6 hits and chucking a complete-game 4-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said the Detroit manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." Sedlmeyer said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big."
