 | De Montigny Magnificent in San Francisco Win Monday, May 23rd, 2016: The San Francisco Reds met their match today in San Antonio hurler Kevin De Montigny. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," the San Francisco skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow." In the 6-0 victory De Montigny whiffed 8 and gave up 1 walk. Thus far this season De Montigny has posted a 2-0 record, started 7 games, struck out 57 batters in 46.2 innings and compiled a 2.12 ERA. |
